Restored Lands Announces Virtual Screening of Inspiring Documentary ‘Future Council’ Salida, Colorado – February 3, 2026 – Restored Lands Nonprofit is excited to host a special virtual film screening of Future Council, an empowering documentary directed by acclaimed filmmaker Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film, 2040). The event will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM MST via the Eventive platform, offering families and community members a powerful opportunity to explore solutions to the climate crisis through the eyes of young people. In Future Council, Damon Gameau takes eight children from around the world on an epic road trip across Europe in a biofuel-powered school bus. Their mission is to move beyond street protests and directly engage with leaders of some of the world’s most influential companies, challenging them to prioritize solutions that protect the planet. The children form a “Future Council” to advise on decisions impacting nature, resulting in an inspiring coming-of-age journey that dares to envision a brighter, more sustainable future.
