About the event
Harvest seeds on a forested military base at the foot of the Front Range mountains!
Join us for a seed collection event at the United States Air Force Academy where we will be collection primarily showy milkweed seed but will have the chance to collect some other species.
This event is the first of two that is supporting our work at Mesa Valley Wildlife Preserve. Here you will get to harvest seeds for Restored Lands' Monarch Conservation Program (you'll get to take some home too if you'd like!), then you will get the opportunity to join us soon after on the Preserve to sow these seeds!
