About the event
Summer will be here before you know it with more & more people using our public lands again!
The goal for this cleanup is to get a heavily used portion our forest ready for the new season by picking up any trash left behind by campers or forest users this past season & repairing any dismatled or poorly constructed firepits.
Should be a nice, easy morning with beautful weather.
The primary location will be the Shavano Campground (Shavano Wildlife Managment Area) forest land off CR250 (the dirt road) past Applejack RV park. We can start in the campground and work our way up from there.
We will meet at the 'entrance' just past the cattle guard in the pull off (across from the Mt. Shavano Wildlife Area sign) and head up by 10:15 or sooner.
You will see me with my black truck and truck camper.
